Maintaining continuous production while minimizing operational costs is a key competitive advantage for modern manufacturers. Production processes often require advanced predictive maintenance solutions, where early detection of equipment failures helps prevent costly unplanned downtime.
For this project, the client aimed to implement a predictive maintenance system to increase production reliability and reduce the risk of unexpected failures that could lead to significant financial losses.
After analyzing the characteristics of the machinery and the production process, Axoma designed and implemented a Condition Monitoring application based on the Ignition platform. The solution was complemented with data concentrators supporting the OPC-UA communication standard and seamless integration with the Ignition server.
The project included the monitoring of 19 machines, primarily industrial fans and electric motors.
The solution had to be scalable and enable early detection of failures in vibration-critical rotating machinery.
The client received a comprehensive solution enabling continuous monitoring of technical equipment condition in real time. In addition, a reporting environment was implemented to support maintenance planning and repair management.
The solution included a scalable monitoring platform for collecting and visualizing equipment operating data. Thanks to the Ignition platform, the system supports an unlimited number of users while providing role-based access to diagnostic information.
A dedicated mobile application was also delivered, allowing maintenance personnel to access key operational data directly from the production floor. The system was designed with future expansion in mind, enabling additional equipment to be integrated while leveraging the customer's existing IT infrastructure and minimizing implementation costs.
